NOW WITH PICTURES!!
What does the future hold for Baltimore City? No one knows for sure. One way is to examine is to look at the past and present conditions, the other is to look at what's on the drawing board as far as new development. I will attempt to do both while at the same time throwing in my opinion. Sure, the Inner Harbor and its surrounding neighborhoods are nice, but they're aren't my focus. Check out old posts I have added pictures to them!

Mount Vernon: A Pictoral Journey
Shhhhh. No talking just enjoy the beauty. Some posts don't need words, the pictures tell the whole story. What's the story? I'll let you tell it.
CAL, That was the point of the post. Let the pictures tell he story. That and I currently have writers block and a huge Catalog of Mount Vernon Pictures I took while taking pictures for Bolton Hill, Penn Station, and the Charles St. Trolley it would be a shame for them to go to waste.
A bit late with the comment, but I just wanted to say thanks for that. Mt Vernon is truly one of America's most stately neighborhoods, and ranks up there with Beacon Hill in Boston, Nob Hill in San Fran, etc...And yet, as with so many other good things about Baltimore, it seems to get drowned out by the crime, the corruption, and all the other byproducts of our struggling economy. I'm speaking only in terms of national attention. Those of us who live here know why Baltimore is called charm city.
This is a very good picture of the Mount Vernon area.I am up that area alot.I love the Baltimore Enoch Pratt Library and the Walters Art Gallery.
ReplyDeleteYour posts are always so articulate. This one speaks volumes even without words!

A beautiful area and fun places to hang out.
ReplyDeleteI hope any future developments will preserve the historic character of these buildings!
